Encounter the GOSPEL story!
Do you know the +Gospel “Good News” story of Jesus Christ?
Our desire is to help people come alive and experience the radical grace that God offers through a relationship with Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior! The Gospel story of Jesus tells us how! (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 10:13)
WHY do we need God’s salvation?
We “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
What is sin?
Sin is any thought, attitude, word, or action that missed the mark of God’s holy, perfect, just standard. (Matthew 6:12, Psalm 51)
What has my sin earned?
My sin has separated me from Holy God and demands His righteous punishment. Being a slave to sin leaves me blindly searching for life and coming up empty. Is there HOPE for my RESCUE? (Isaiah 59:2, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:1-3, Ephesians 1:7, John 14:6)
WHAT is the Good News of salvation?
The nature and character of God’s glory “show[ed] His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” God sent His Son into the world to rescue us and set us free! The sinless Son of God willingly endured spiritual separation and physical death to pay my sin ransom on the cross. His victorious resurrection from the grave declares, “Jesus Christ is LORD and Savior!” (Romans 5:8, John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Psalm 49:7,15, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Psalm 22:1, 1 John 4:10, Romans 3:24-26, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 1 Peter 3:18)
Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. God’s offer of forgiveness from sin comes by trusting in the completed sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We must turn from a self-ruled life to a life ruled by faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. (Romans 7:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1)
HOW can I respond to God’s salvation?
Responding to this +Gospel story begins a personal relationship with God! START by expressing your heart to holy God in prayer about the sorrow for your sin against Him. DECLARE your faith to trust in Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior! [Faith = knowledge of God belief in God trust God] THANK God for the perfect, finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, His burial, and victorious resurrection from the grave that secures your forgiveness and freedom. ASK for the Holy Spirit to help you know more of God and follow His will for your life. (1 John 1:9, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 10:13, Hebrews 11:6, John 10:28-30, James 1:5, Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 2:10)

Are you interested in baptism?
Wonderful! We believe that water baptism is an important NEXT STEP of obedience for every person who has by faith received the saving benefits of Christ’s atoning work and become His disciple! (Matthew 28:19-20)
What is baptism
Believer’s baptism is a public demonstration of a person’s inward faith commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ! (Matthew 10:32, Acts 2:38, 1 John 2:3)
The physical act of water baptism is a symbolic and visual picture of three things I believe as a follower of Jesus Christ. Baptism translated from the Greek “baptizo” means “to dip (immerse, plunge, dunk) under water.”
1. What I Believe About Jesus: Jesus died on the cross in my place and for my sin. Then, buried in a tomb. And three days later, Jesus rose from the grave in victory over sin and death. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 10:9-10,13)
2. What I Experienced In Becoming A Christ Follower: Baptism is an outward representation of what happened to me inwardly (spiritually). The righteousness of Christ covers my old identity as a sinner and clothes me with a new identity in Christ. (Romans 6:1-6, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 2:20)
3. What I Believe About My Future: As Christ rose victoriously from the grave, He will return again for me to be with Him for eternity. (John 6:39-44, John 14:3, 1 Corinthians 15:23, John 10:28-30)
